Kingston has unveiled the XS1000 External SSD, a small and sleek device for backing up your files, joining the XS2000 in Kingston’s collection of external SSDs. Both are tiny and weigh less than 29 grams, making them easy to carry around.
The device offers fast read speeds, up to 1,050MB/s, and offers up to 2TB of capacity. It comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, so you can connect it to different devices. Kingston tests all its drives to make sure they work well and are reliable. It’s as small as a key fob, making it great for backing up your important files, photos, and videos.
“We know our customers want storage that’s fast, reliable, and affordable. With the XS1000, we’re giving them more options for external storage,” said Kingston.
“We designed this drive to be small and compact. In fact, it’s currently the smallest external SSD on the market with speeds up to 1,050MB/s, and it’s only half the size of a regular SSD. That means it’s super portable and perfect for anyone who wants both convenience and top-notch performance.”
The XS1000 comes in 1TB and 2TB versions and is backed by a limited five-year warranty, plus free technical support. Those who will purchase the XS1000 between September 15th and October 31, 2023, will receive a special Kingston palm rest and a rubber sleeve for free.
