TECNO recently announced its new POVA 5 series, which includes the vanilla variant, the POVA Neo 3, and the TECNO POVA 5 Pro, which offers capable hardware and a slightly different mecha design. And if RGB is your thing, stick around, because this phone has light strips on its rear panel that can be used for an array of functions, including notifications, warnings, and more.

TECNO POVA 5 Pro has a 6.78″ FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and packs a Dimensity 6080 along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also uses a large vapor chamber and a heat dissipation area for improved thermal performance, along with a linear motor for better haptic feedback.

TECNO Claims that MLBB will run consistently at or above 80 fps, and that the maximum fps of 120 is also achievable with this device. On the contrary, this will also have a Free Fire version, just like POVA 5.

For optics, the device has a 50MP rear camera paired with a depth sensor, along with a 16MP front camera. You also get Hi-Res and DTS Certified stereo speakers.

It houses a 5,000mAh battery which 68W Ultra Charge, which means 50% in 15 minutes, and a full charge in 45. There’s also Bypass Charge which lets the phone draw power directly from where it’s plugged in, instead of the battery. This lessens heat and prolongs the life of the battery. It can even warn you if there’s anything in the port (water, etc.) that can potentially damage the device.

Is the TECNO POVA 5 Pro Coming to the Philippines?

As of the moment, TECNO is yet to reveal the price for the TECNO POVA 5 Pro, but what we do know is that it’s coming to the Philippines as well.
